Los zapatos Oxford son un tipo de calzado masculino, cerrado de cordones que llega hasta justo debajo del tobillo; se lleva desde el siglo XVII en Inglaterra y en el siglo XVIII ya era el calzado de rigor entre los estudiantes de la Universidad de Oxford. Poco a poco se fue imponiendo como el tipo de calzado más elegante para los caballeros, especialmente para llevar con traje, aunque en la actualidad existen estilos más casuales y, además, los modelos femeninos con una oferta más amplia en colores y diseños.

Como este tipo de zapatos es originalmente formal, queda muy bien combinado con prendas clásicas para crear un outfit sofisticado. Pero en realidad, este estilo de zapatos queda bien con todo: jeans, faldas, vestidos, pantalones y hasta shorts.

En esta ocasión he decidido llevarlos en un tono rosa haciendo un contraste absoluto con el resto de la ropa: pantalón cigarrette (es decir, ajustado hasta arriba del robillo) camisa y jersey de punto, con detalle de lazos en los codos que sirvan como un foco de atención de lo femenino. Y eso es, porque si tienes miedo a que tu look parezca un disfraz de hombre, incluye aquello que un hombre standard no llevaría: aretes o un collar llamativo, el cabello suelto o un labial muy rojo, por ejemplo.

Me gustó mucho este look y además comprobar nuevamente que la fuerza de las mujeres es tal, que podemos tomar ropa o accesorios fuertemente masculinos y convertirlos en nuestros, aprovechar lo mejor de su esencia y sacarle el mejor provecho a nuestro armario. Este es el caso de los zapatos Oxford.

This time I decided to use them in a pink tone that contrasted absolutely with the rest of the clothes: cigarette pants (fitted in ankle), white shirt and jersey with detail on the elbows that can serve as a focus of the feminine. That is it, because if you are afraid that your outfit looks like a man’s costume, you should include what a standard man would not wear: earrings or a striking necklace or a very red lipstick, for example.

I really liked this look and I verify that the strength of women is so big, that we can wear strongly masculine clothes or accessories and turn them into ours, take advantage of the best of their essence and get the best out of our wardrobe. This is the case of Oxford shoes.
