Luego de que la mayoría de mujeres nos acostumbramos a luchar todo el tiempo con la talla de la ropa, la tiranía de los números y el mal ajuste de muchas prendas a los cuerpos reales, hay otra batalla de la que no se habla mucho que es con los zapatos.

Los amamos y queremos tener un closet gigante lleno de ellos, pero todos los pies al igual que los cuerpos, son diferentes y muchas veces los nuestros no encajan en el ideal perfecto del fabricante -que tristemente también- existe.

Amo los tacones y por mi talla consigo fácilmente los que me gustan. El trago amargo viene cuando quiero comprar botas, porque mi pierna parece ser más gruesa que el standard del fabricante. Y entonces mis pies entran, pero luego el cierre no sube hasta el final, razón por la cual casi nunca uso unas.

A veces ocurren milagros como cuando encontré este par luego de dudar entrar al almacén pensando que no encontraría nada, pero gracias a Dios, a mi pareja que me insistió y a la sensatez de esta marca, salí feliz de allí no con uno, sino con dos pares de botas y las amo tanto que las uso con mucha frecuencia.

Ha sido una compra excelente para esos espacios en los que quieres llevar vestido o falda, pero hace frío y el terreno es agreste para llevar tacones altos. Entonces son una excelente opción para abrigar las piernas sin perder el estilo ni obligarnos a usar pantalones, de los cuales, no soy muy fanática.

Este look está compuesto por dos piezas que me encanta combinar: Vestido Midi y botas de caña alta con tacón grueso. El sólo vestido es una declaración en sí mismo con el estampado animal print en tonos rosas, un lazo que destaca la cintura y de manga larga para estar acorde al clima; y las botas son un must en ciudades frías como Bogotá y para este tipo de salidas.

Es mi forma de decirles que no siempre hay que ir de jean a un evento en el campo –si no vas a montar caballo claro- y que sólo necesitamos identificar el calzado adecuado.

Tip viajero: Los vestidos y faldas ocupan menos espacio que un jean en la maleta y puedes enrollarlos dentro de la caña de las botas para que éstas no pierdan su forma.

Hello everyone.

Many women we used to fight all the time with the size of clothing, the tyranny of numbers and the poor fit of many garments to the real bodies, there is another battle that is not talked about, that is with shoes.

We love them and want to have a giant closet full of them, but all the feet like bodies, are different and often ours do not fit the perfect ideal of the manufacturer – which sadly there is also.

I love heels and I can easily get my size. The bitter moment comes when I want to buy boots, because my leg seems to be thicker than the standard of manufacturer. Then my feet fits, but the zipper does not go up until the end. This is the reason I almost never use this kind of shoes.

Sometimes miracles occur as when I found this pair after doubt entering to the store thinking that he would not find anything, but thanks to God, my boyfriend who insisted me and the wisdom of this brand, I bought not just one, but two pairs of boots and I love them so much that I use them a lot.

It has been an excellent purchase, to wear in the spaces in which you like to wear a dress or skirt, but is cold and the flat is rugged to wear heels. Therefore, are an excellent option to cover the legs without losing the style or force us to wear pants, which I am not very fan.

This look is composed of two pieces that I love to mix: Midi dress and high boots with low heel. The dress is a statement in itself with the animal print in pink, a belt that emphasizes the waist and long sleeve to be consistent with the weather; and the boots are necessary in cold cities as Bogota and for these occasions.

It is my way to say you that is not always necessary to wear jeans when you go to the countryside – if you are not going to ride a horse of course – and we just need to identify the proper footwear.

Trip Tip: dresses & skirts take up less space than a jean in your suitcase and you can wrap them inside the boots so that they do not lose their shape.
