¿Recuerdan cuando los fines de semana eran para dormir y descansar del colegio o la universidad? ¿Ya no vienen de esos en el calendario? Parece que en el que yo vengo recibiendo hace unos años no. Con mi pareja siempre conversamos que ansiamos un fin de semana de pereza total, televisión y comida a domicilio, pero en los casi tres años que llevamos juntos, esta maravilla ha sucedido en muy pocas ocasiones.

Y el fin de semana anterior no fue la excepción. Viajamos con mi novio 7 horas de ida y casi 8 de regreso para visitar a su abuela y celebrar con la familia 99 años de vida. Fue una faena agotadora pero satisfactoria, no sólo porque no tuvimos ningún contratiempo durante el viaje, sino por la felicidad de la abuela al ver la casa llena de hijos, nietos y bisnietos. Todos por ella y para ella.

Al final se siente un poco triste cuando todos deben regresar, pero los despide con besos, bendiciones y una bolsita de bizcochos empacado con amor para cada uno, que ella entrega personalmente.

A pesar del calor familiar las temperaturas eran bajas al comenzar el día, aunque había que estar preparado para ser sorprendidos por el sol en cualquier momento. Así que escogí esta camiseta y este cárdigan con un diseño muy medio oeste con los flecos en la espalda. Siempre quise una prenda con ese estilo cowboy y estoy feliz de tenerla ahora porque, aunque deje de estar en tendencia un tiempo, siempre vuelve a estar de moda.

El resto del outfit son los típicos jeans que soportan el uso y el abuso, accesorios con cuero y plumas para seguir con la inspiración vaquera, y unos tennis. No usé botas texanas porque primero no quería que pareciera un disfraz, y segundo, no tengo. Quizá a la próxima me anime a usar unos botines para otra ocasión.

Espero que les gusten las fotos y que siempre que puedan recorran los kilómetros necesarios para alegrar el corazón de la familia que está lejos.

Hello everyone.

¿Remember when the weekends were for sleeping and resting from school or college? ¿Do not they come from those in the calendar? It seems that it is not in those that I have received in recent years.

With my boyfriend, we always talk that we crave a weekend of total laziness, television and food at home, but in the almost three years that we have been together, this marvel has happened on few occasions.

Last weekend was not the exception. My boyfriend and I traveled 7 hours one way and almost 8 hours back to visit his grandmother and celebrate with the family her birthday #99. It was exhausting but satisfying, not only because we had no setbacks during the trip, but for the happiness of the grandmother to see the house full of sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All for her.

At the end, she feels a little sad when everyone must return, but she dismisses them with kisses, blessings and a bag of cookies, packed with love for each one, which she personally delivers.

Despite the family heat, the temperatures were low in the morning, although the sun could surprise you at any time. Therefore, I chose this tank top and this cardigan with a very mid-west design with fringes on the back. I always wanted a garment with that cowboy style and I am happy to have it now because, even if it is not in trend for a while, it is always in fashion again.

The rest of the outfit are the typical jeans that endure the use and abuse, accessories with leather and feathers to continue with cowboy inspiration, and sneakers. I did not wear Texan boots because I did not want it to look like a costume, and I do not have any. Maybe next time I will be encouraged to wear some boots for another occasion.
