Como saben, la semana pasada estuve en mi tierra… en mi calurosa Montería, llenándome de vitamina F (Viajar para reencontrarlos) y acompañando a mi prima en su boda (Celebrando el amor).

Aproveché para caminar sin afán por sus calles y para reconocer sitios a los que no había vuelto, como la Ronda del Sinú, el parque lineal más largo de Latinoamérica. Un recorrido a la orilla del rio, lleno de árboles y animales silvestres, sitios de recreación, ciclovías, restaurantes, artesanías y muelles para tomar el planchón* que nos transporta en 5 minutos a la margen izquierda de la ciudad, donde también se está construyendo una ronda.

*El planchón es un medio de transporte construido en madera y montado en dos canoas, soportadas por una guaya y una cuerda. No tienen motor, usan la fuerza de la corriente para desplazarse ayudados por la guaya, y eso los hace el medio de transporte más amigable con el ambiente en el mundo.

Cerca al río, los árboles y la brisa amainan el calor, y me permitieron caminar al parque principal de la ciudad donde encontré un festival de dulces típicos y hermosas artesanías. Infortunadamente la catedral estaba cerrada y no pude compartir fotos de su majestuoso interior, pero siempre es un placer verla y admirar su arquitectura.

Y como he sido reiterativa con las altas temperaturas de mi ciudad, lo más aconsejable para mí, es usar zapatos abiertos, ropa de algodón o telas frescas, en prendas holgadas que permitan libertad de movimiento y aporten frescura.

Yo quise usar esta falda a media pierna, amplia y con un lindo estampado, sandalias planas y una fresca camiseta de algodón de mi novio. La propuesta era usar prendas masculinas con otras muy femeninas para aportar balance y lograr un efecto llamativo. Me gustó y creo que logré el objetivo.

Hello everyone.

As you know, last week I was in my birth land … in my hot Montería, filling me with vitamin F (Travel to find them) and accompanying my cousin on her wedding day (Celebrating love).

I took the opportunity to walk without rush through its streets and to recognize places to which I had not returned, such as Ronda del Sinú, the longest linear park in Latin America. A road along the river, full of trees and wild animals, recreation sites, bike paths, restaurants, crafts and docks to take the planchon* that transports us in 5 minutes to the left side of the city, where the city is also building a round.

* The planchon is a transport built in wood and mounted in two canoes, supported by a guaya and a rope. They do not have an engine, because use the force of the water to move helped by the guaya, and that makes them the most environmentally friendly kind of transport in the world.

Near the river, the trees and the breeze diminish the heat, and allowed me to walk to the main park of the city, where I found a festival of typical sweets and beautiful crafts. Unfortunately, the cathedral was closed and I could not share photos of its majestic interior, but it is always a pleasure to see it and admire its architecture.

And as I have been reiterative with the high temperatures of my city, the best for me is to wear open shoes, cotton clothes or fresh fabrics, in garments that allow freedom of movement and bring freshness.

I wanted to wear this midi skirt, wide and with a nice print, flat sandals and a cool cotton shirt of my boyfriend. The proposal was to wear masculine garments with very feminine ones to provide balance and achieve a striking effect. I liked it and I think I achieved the goal.
