Hola a todos.

El post de hoy lo escribí pensando en aquellos viajes que hacemos para reencontrarnos con nosotros mismos. Esos viajes llenos de silencio y tiempo a solas que con el ajetreo de la vida se hacen tan necesarios.

Sin embargo, mi próximo viaje no estará lleno de silencio y tiempo a solas. Mi próximo viaje no es para reencontrarme, sino para reencontrarlos a ellos… a mi familia: a mis papás, a mi hijo, a mis primos.

Me llena de emoción empezar a organizar la maleta para verlos nuevamente, tenerlos cerca con su bullicio, con sus risas a alto volumen, con sus personalidades caribeñas y alegres.

Quiero que llegue pronto el momento de tomar el avión y cruzar medio país para abrazarlos y llenarme de su energía, del amor de mi mamá y mi tía expresados en ricas comidas, de la hermandad con mis primos convertida en conversaciones interminables, de noches inolvidables abrazada a la espalda de mi hijo.

Porque esos son los momentos que valen la vida y que no importa el esfuerzo que tome llevarlos a cabo, porque la felicidad que aportan es infinita.

Hello everyone.

I wrote today’s post thinking about those trips about rediscover ourselves. Those trips full of silence and time alone that with the hustle and bustle of life become so necessary.

However, my next trip will not be full of silence and time alone. My next trip is not to rediscover myself, but to find them … my family: my parents, my son, my cousins.

It fills me with excitement to start organizing the suitcase to see them again, to have them close with their bustle, with their laughter at loud, with their Caribbean and happy personalities.

I want to arrive soon the moment to take the plane and cross half the country to embrace them and fill me with their energy, the love of my mother and my aunt expressed in delicious meals, the brotherhood with my cousins turned into endless conversations, and unforgettable nights embraced behind my son’s back.

Because those are the moments that are worth the life, and that it does not matter the effort that takes to carry them out, because the happiness that they contribute us is infinite.
