Hola a todos.

Hace unos días recaí en una afección de salud que llevo sufriendo hace varios meses y estuve muy enferma, tuve que ir al hospital y luego visitar médicos de diferentes especialidades y comprar muchos medicamentos. Luego de todo eso estuve analizando los costos de las citas y los exámenes médicos, pero sobre todo de las medicinas que compré, y sentí que era muy alto.

Como todos saben me gusta la ropa, los accesorios, el maquillaje, comer rico, etc. Darme esos placeres me hace sentir feliz y no pienso que el dinero deba ser un impedimento para darle ese confort a mi vida.

Pero la salud es mucho más importante que todo eso, porque sin ella, simplemente lo demás pierde presencia y a veces ni siquiera puede vivirse. Puedo amar la moda, pero si no estoy sana, no puedo disfrutar de ella. Entonces, ¿Por qué un par de zapatos no parece caro si cuesta lo mismo que las medicinas que nos devuelven la salud? ¿Es más importante el goce momentáneo que me proporcionará este accesorio que estar bien siempre?

Le hablé a mi pareja sobre mis pensamientos y le dije que había visto una Style Box en internet y que había pensado comprarla. Contenía accesorios, maquillaje, y otros lindos productos de tendencia que quería tener y que su valor en dólares al cambio de moneda colombiana se acercaba bastante al valor de las medicinas que debía comprar, y que no entendía por qué era más agradable comprar cosas lindas y suntuosas sin las cuales puedo vivir pero que dan placer, a comprar el medicamento sin el cual no puedo mejorar, pero no que no son tan agradables.

Y él me contestó: “Piensa que la medicina es tu Medicine Box y cómprala con la misma emoción.”

Y aquí está… Ésta es mi Medicine Box con diferentes productos que me hacen feliz y me dan bienestar. La compré con amor, y la disfruto cada día que la uso. Se ve incluso bonita ¿no creen? 😊

Espero que este post un poco diferente al tema de la moda, nos ayude a reflexionar sobre si aquello que le damos importancia es en realidad es LO VERDADERAMENTE IMPORTANTE.

Hello everyone.

A few days ago I fell into a health condition that I suffered several months ago and I was very sick, I had to go to the hospital and then
visit doctors of different specialities and buy many medicines. After all this, I was analyzing the costs of appointments and medical examinations, but especially of the medicines that I bought, and I felt that it was very high.

As everyone knows I like clothes, accessories, make-up, food etc. These pleasures makes me feel happy and I do not think that money should be an impediment to give that comfort to my life.

However, health is more important than all that, because without it, simply the other things loses presence. I love fashion, but if I’m not healthy, I cannot enjoy it. So ¿Why does a pair of shoes not seem expensive if it costs the same as the medicines that bring us back health? ¿Is more important the momentary enjoyment that will give me this accessory than to always be well? 

I talked to my boyfriend about my thoughts and told him that I had seen a Style Box on the internet and I wanted to buy it. It contained
accessories, makeup, and other beautiful trend products, and its cost was almost the same of the medicines I should buy, and I understand that it was more pleasant to buy sumptuous and beautiful things, to buy the medicines in order to recover my health, even if that are not so nice.

And he said, «Think that is your Medicine Box and buy it with the same excitement.»

So here it is … This is my Medicine Box with different products that make me happy and give me well-being. I bought it with love, and I enjoy it every day I use it.
