El look de hoy me recuerda a mi mamá cuando yo estaba pequeña y ella sucumbía a la moda de los 80’s con sombras de ojos brillantes y blusas en estampados sicodélicos.

Al verla en esa época me enamoré de los zapatos de colores, las faldas rectas a la rodilla y las blusas con detalles y estampados vibrantes.

Me ponía sus tacones y usaba su maquillaje de forma desproporcionada.  Quería crecer para usar faldas o bonitos vestidos y para comprar collares y pulseras que sonaran y guardarlas como ella
en un cofrecito.

Y ahora que he podido adquirir esas prendas que atesoro, quise rendir homenaje a mi madre por haber sido, sin ella saberlo, una influencia en mi afán por verme bien en cada momento y ocasión,
tratando siempre de verme bonita y femenina.

Este atuendo es inspirado en ella… en el recuerdo de su falda azul y sus tacones de colores.

Today’s look reminds me of my mother when I was a little girl and she succumbed to the 80’s fashion with bright eyes shadows and blouses with psychedelic print.

When I saw her in that time, I fell in love with color shoes, straight skirts to the knee and blouses with details and prints.

I wore her shoes and used her makeup disproportionately. I wanted to grow up to wear skirts or beautiful dresses and to buy necklaces and bracelets and keep them like her in a little
box.

Now that I have been able to purchase those items, I wanted to pay tribute to my mother for having been, without her knowing it, an influence on my effort to dress well in every
moment and occasion, always trying to feel me pretty and feminine.

She inspires this outfit… in the memory of her blue skirt and her colorful high heels.
