Mi ritmo ha bajado un poco ahora que navidad ha pasado, porque fueron días de compras, organizar alojamiento y menús para la visita de mi familia, y luego de unas semanas locas ha llegado un poco la calma.

He vuelto al trabajo disfrutando de unos días soleados que me permiten usar la ropa que me gusta, que a veces resulta un poco “caribeña” a los ojos de los demás, aunque luego de tomarme las fotos sentí que este
look más que tropical parecía un poco de novicia.

En fin, combiné esta falda de jean con unos tacones estampados en flores y una blusa blanca con el lazo al cuello o pussy bow que ha tomado un nuevo protagonismo, gracias a la política más que a las tendencias.

Y para más color: el bolso naranja!!!

Gracias por leer y espero me cuenten si se atreven a vestirse en tonos tropicales a pesar que haga frío en la ciudad.

Hello everyone.

My pace has dropped a bit now that Christmas has passed, because they were days of shopping, arrange accommodation and menus to attend the visit of my family, and after a few weeks of madness the calm has come.

I’m back to work enjoying sunny days that allow me to wear the clothes that I like that is sometimes a little «Caribbean» in the eyes of others.

I combined this jean skirt with flowers printed heels and a white blouse with “pussy bow” that has taken a new role, thanks to politics rather than to the trends.

And for more color: Orange bag!

La Navidad es mi época favorita del año. Quienes me conocen, saben que decoro mi casa desde noviembre con un árbol gigante, luces y todas las cosas posibles navideñas.

Me gusta el ambiente alegre que se vive; se respira en el aire amor, esperanza y magia. Es el momento perfecto para reunirnos con amigos y familiares, disfrutar deliciosas comidas, reír y conversar.

Y otra cosa que adoro son las luces y decoraciones de los edificios, calles y centros comerciales. Vuelvo a ser niña, porque disfruto mucho.

A pesar del clima frío el calor de la gente no permitió que usara mi abrigo sobre este vestido, que combiné con medias oscuras porque siento que es un poco corto.

Pensé que no caminaría mucho, y me sentí feliz con mis botas de tacón alto. Pero no es una buena elección para un largo recorrido porque al final mis pies estaban muy cansados. Sin embargo fui feliz haciendo lo que me gusta.

Hello everyone!!!

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. People who know me, know that I decorate my house since November with a giant tree, lights and all kind of things.

I like the cheerful atmosphere, love is in the air with hope and magic. It is the perfect time to spend time with friends and family, enjoy delicious meals, laugh and talk.

And another thing that I love are the lights and decorations of buildings, streets and shopping malls. I feel like a little girl again.

Despite the cold weather, the warmth of the people not allowed me using my coat on this dress that I combined with dark tights because I feel that it is a little short.

I thought I would not walk much, and I was happy with my high heel boots. But it is not a good choice for a long walk because at the end,
my feet were very tired. However, I was happy doing what I like.

Diciembre llegó con días llenos de eventos y lluvia. Ahora vamos a casi mitad del mes y las celebraciones y encuentros aumentan, y enhorabuena las lluvias cesan trayendo un poco de
sol.

En esta época todos corremos de un lado a otro para pasar tiempo con nuestros amigos y familiares, y además llevarles un detalle que les recuerde lo mucho que los queremos y agradecemos
su presencia en nuestras vidas.

El outfit de hoy es un buen ejemplo de lo que podríamos usar para esas jornadas de compras y que se resume en: Comodidad.

Tengo una blusa fresca y de manga media, porque el calor aumenta en las tiendas abarrotadas de gente, y siempre por precaución ante el cambio de clima repentino que puede suceder en
Bogotá, llevo un cárdigan.

El pantalón es amplio con una abertura frontal en la pierna que le da un toque atrevido al conjunto y combina perfecto con mis zapatos bajos.

Finalizo con un accesorio que uso por primera vez en mi vida: un pequeño bolso cruzado. Y es la pieza clave porque hay que estar libres para poder apreciar, tocar y revisar los artículos
de las tiendas, y permite llevar sólo lo necesario (llaves, dinero, tarjeta y celular.

Y además tiene un diseño hermoso no les parece?

December has arrived with days full of events and rain. In the half of the month, the celebrations and meetings have increased, and the rains have ended and bring us a
bit of Sun.

In this time all of us are running to spend time with our friends and family, and also give them a little gift that remember them how we appreciate their presence in our
lives.

The outfit of today is a good example of what could we use for those days of shopping and that is summed up in: comfort.

I have a fresh blouse with medium sleeve, because the heat increases in the shops crowded of people, and always by caution for the change of climate suddenly that can
happen in Bogota, I have a cardigan.

The pants are broad with an opening in front of the leg that combines perfect with my flats.

I finished with an accessory that uses for first time in my life: a small cross bag. And this is the key piece because we need to be free in order to appreciate, touch
and check the articles in the stores, and it allows carry only the necessary (keys, money, credit card and cellphone.)

And also has a beautiful design … Don’t you think?

La temporada de diciembre llega con eventos y celebraciones casi cada día. Algunos de ellos exigen atuendos muy elegantes, otros más casuales o incluso campestres. Esta noche la ocasión es una fiesta con música
en vivo para bailar y disfrutar como en un concierto.

Escogí este vestido de la colaboración de la diseñadora colombiana Olga Piedrahita para Arkitect, porque aunque el diseño es femenino y elegante, el jean le imprime informalidad.

Me encanta la silueta porque destaca delicadamente el busto y la cintura, y el vuelo de la falda ayuda a ocultar la pancita o los muslos. Además el detalle en los hombros me pareció hermoso y resalta esa parte
de mi cuerpo que a veces considero muy grande.

Este atuendo el ejemplo perfecto que no debemos adoptar nuestro cuerpo a la ropa, sino las prendas a nuestro cuerpo para resaltar las áreas más bellas y restarle atención a aquellas que nos angustian.

Y como el jean es un tono neutro, lo combiné con accesorios dorados y coloridos, un sobre o clutch en amarillo y zapatos animal print de tacón medio para soportar la larga noche de baile.

distress us.

And as the jean is a neutral tone, I combined it with gold and colorful jewelry, an a yellow clutch and shoes in animal print with medium heels to withstand the long night of dancing.
