El animal print es un estampado que me agrada mucho y que prefiero llevar en una o máximo dos prendas de mi atuendo para que no sea excesivo.

Hace unos días, recibí esta blusa de Mango como regalo y decidí ensayarla con jeans en un outfit informal.

Sin embargo me gustó tanto que pronto la llevaré con otras piezas que le aporten más elegancia.

Espero incluyan un poco de ferocidad  en su closet y gracias por sus comentarios.

I like animal print very much and prefer to carry on one or maximum two of them in my outfit, because more could look excessive.

A few days ago, I received this blouse from Mango as gift and I decided to try it with jeans in a casual outfit.

However I liked it so much that I will soon wear it with pants or a skirt that provides more elegance.

Hoy quiero hablarles de mi viaje a la región cafetera de Colombia. Estuve esta semana en el municipio de Calarcá (Departamento del Quindío), aprendiendo del café que produce y exporta mi país, y del cual me siento orgullosa.

Iniciamos el recorrido en una finca cafetera adecuada para que el turista pueda sumergirse en la siembra y cosecha del café  www.recuca.com, vistiendo los trajes típicos de los verdaderos recolectores, comiendo y bebiendo lo que ellos consumen durante su jornada y lo mejor del día: yendo al sembrado a recolectar los granos rojos que luego de un proceso se convertirán en esta deliciosa bebida.

Aprendimos también el proceso de secado y tostado del grano que luego será exportado, su control de calidad, y finalmente, cómo preparar un perfecto café en casa y disfrutar todas sus cualidades.

La ropa debía ser cómoda para soportar la jornada del día, y a pesar del calor, debía proteger mis brazos del sol y de insectos que pudiera haber en el cultivo, por lo que los jeans y una camisa vaquera que pudiera remangar fueron la mejor opción para disfrutar esta experiencia.

Al final saboreamos un almuerzo título con frijoles que es otro ingrediente básico de la gastronomía de esta parte del país.

Today, I want to talk about my trip to the coffee region of Colombia. I was this week in the municipality of Calarcá (Quindío Department), learning about the coffee that produces and exports my country, and of which I feel proud.

We started the tour in a coffee farm adequate so that tourists can immerse themselves in the planting and harvesting of coffee, wearing the costumes of the true collectors, eating and drinking what they consume during the day and the best of the day: going to collect red beads to be converted in this delicious drink after a process.

I learned also the process of drying and toasting of the grain that then will be exported, their control of quality, and finally, how prepare a perfect coffee at home and enjoy all its qualities.

The clothing should be comfortable to support the day, and despite the heat, I had to protect my arms from the Sun and bugs that might be in the field, so jeans and a denim shirt were the best choice to enjoy this experience.

At the end, we tasted a lunch with beans, which is another basic ingredient of the cuisine of this part of the country.

Los días lluviosos tienen un encanto especial… son fríos a simple vista, pero proponen actividades cálidas como conversar sobre la vida alrededor de una taza de café o chocolate caliente.

Y como son la excusa perfecta para usar colores que te destaquen entre la multitud de gris, he optado por usar este cómodo vestido de flores, con botines y medias para cubrir la parte inferior del cuerpo de la inclemencia del clima.

Finalizo con un llamativo bolso en rojo que de seguro no pasará desapercibido… y ahora estoy lista disfrutar un rico café colombiano con amigos.

Rainy days have a special charm… are very cold at first sight, but offers warms activities such as share with other people with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

And as they are the perfect excuse to wear colors in order to stand out among the crowd in gray, I have opted to use this comfortable dress with flowers, with boots and stockings to cover the lower part of the body of inclement weather.

I ended the outfit with a vibrant red bag that will surely not go unnoticed… Now I am ready to enjoy a delicious Colombian coffee with friends.

Hace un año, di vida a este blog como la forma de cumplir el sueño de comunicar y expresarme. Lo he alimentado, consentido y me he preocupado por él como parte importante de mi vida. Y al tiempo que lo he visto crecer y evolucionar, he notado un cambio en mí y en mi percepción sobre la moda, el estilo y la vida misma.

Sin ponerme muy trascendental, empecé a pensar que deseaba un nombre que nos definiera más, que fuera más… Feliz.

A pesar de las dificultades, de los problemas, y de que incluso tengo un carácter fuerte, me considero una persona feliz.   Y este cambio de nombre ern el blog, lo que busca reflejar es que la moda, la ropa, los accesorios, los zapatos…. Todo debe hacernos felices. Que no sea una imposición, que no sea una tortura, que hasta puede salirse un poco de los parámetros.

Los invito a continuar leyéndonos, y a ver el estilo como el canal que permite reflejar por fuera, lo bellos que somos por dentro.

A year ago, I gave life to this blog as a way to fulfill the dream of communicating and expressing myself. I’ve fed it, spoiled and I worried for it as an important part of my life. And to while it I have seen grow and evolve, I have noticed a change in me and my perception about fashion, style and life.

I began to think that it wanted a name that should define us more, to be more… Happy.

Despite the problems and that even I have a strong character, I consider myself a happy person. And this change of name wants to reflect that fashion, clothes, accessories, shoes… All should make us happy. Is not an imposition, is not a torture, even can be out of standards.

​Hoy es dia de celebración y el rojo es el mejor color para festejar en cualquier ocasión. 

Escogí esta blusa con hermosos detalles en las mangas, una falda con boleros y zapatos en animal print con tacon medio para bailar mucho sin cansarme. 

Con esta combinación de colores festiva y una intención de look femenino y romántico me dispongo a compartir con mis amigos la alegría de estar juntos.

Today is a day of celebration and red is the best color for this occasion. 

I chose this blouse with beautiful details on the sleeves, a romantic skirt and  animal print shoes with medium heels  to dance and lot without feeling tired. 

With this combination of festive colors creating a feminine outfit, I am ready to share with friends the  joy of being together.
